Who we are
Pampas & Peaks plans tailor-made trips to Argentina. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at [email protected] or by post at Ing. Enrique Butty 275, C1001 Buenos Aires, Argentina.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we receive the details you choose to give us: your name, email address, where you are travelling from, your travel dates, the number of travellers, the places that interest you and anything else you write in the message.
If you go on to book, we also collect the information needed to arrange the trip, such as passport names, dates of birth, dietary needs, mobility or health information you decide to share with us, and flight details.
We do not use analytics or advertising tools on this website, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
How we use it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare proposals and quotes, and arrange and support your trip.
To keep records we are required to keep for accounting and legal reasons.
We never sell your information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to.
Legal basis
We use your information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and to perform that contract, because you have given consent (for example when you tick the box on the enquiry form), and where we must comply with a legal obligation. Health information is only used with your explicit consent and only to make your trip safe and comfortable.
Who we share it with
Only with the people who need it to deliver your trip, such as hotels, lodges, estancias, airlines and transport providers, and only once you have asked us to book them.
With the companies that provide our email and website hosting, which process data on our behalf under their own security and confidentiality obligations.
With authorities where the law requires it.
International transfers
A trip to Argentina means sharing some of your details with suppliers in Argentina, and our service providers may store data in other countries. Where we transfer information abroad we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected to the standard required by applicable law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within two years of our last contact. Booking records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires, and then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time. Write to [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, in Argentina the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública, or the authority in the country where you live.
Images and third-party content
Photographs on this site are loaded from our image delivery provider. When your browser requests an image, that service receives technical information such as your IP address and browser type, as with any website request. It does not receive the content of your enquiry.

Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the way we handle personal information changes, and show the date of the latest version at the top.
